Moon in the 8th House

How the Moon works in the 8th house

You're firmly convinced that higher powers exist and that people must follow moral laws. Sometimes those rules have to be broken, but you try not to do so unless absolutely necessary.

You can be overly superstitious. Unexplained events do occur, but you're inclined to see a mystical force behind even the most ordinary happenings.

You often have prophetic dreams, believe that destiny can be foretold, and take an interest in liminal states of consciousness, the afterlife, and spiritualism. Your flashes of insight can be vivid and arrive without warning. Perhaps you're tapping into an information field or receiving messages from your subconscious. In time, you'll be able to attain great mastery in esoteric subjects, occult studies, and spiritual practices.

What the 8th house governs

The 8th house in your birth chart describes everything unusual in your life that falls outside the bounds of reason. Above all, it concerns your spirituality and attitude toward mysticism, as well as extraordinary intuition and unusual abilities, including whether they may emerge in you. The eighth house can also reveal unusual events that have happened to you or are still to come. Sometimes this house indicates whether you may receive an inheritance and how large it will be.

What the Moon represents

The Moon's zodiac sign in your birth chart governs your emotions, intuition, and subconscious. The Moon represents your feminine side, your receptivity, and your capacity for empathy: the ability to feel with other people and sense what they're going through.
