Sun in the 12th House directs the planet's energy toward your subconscious. The house tells you where the planet expresses itself; how it does so depends on the sign it occupies.
How the Sun works in the 12th house
You subconsciously sense the mystical side of the world hidden beneath its surface. This unusual perception sets you apart from other people: you know something they can only guess at.
Sometimes you need peace and solitude. You believe you're different from most people, which makes it hard to attract friends and kindred spirits.
You may let loved ones influence your decisions, such as whom to marry or which career to pursue. You should make your own decisions, push back, and resist simply going with the flow. Later in life, you yourself can influence younger or less experienced people, becoming a brilliant manipulator or the power behind the throne.
What the 12th house governs
The 12th house in your birth chart concerns everything buried deep within you, beneath the surface: your subconscious and your secrets. It represents your deepest feelings and hopes, insecurities and fears, secrets and painful stories from the past that you want to forget. The twelfth house describes everything hidden inside you that others—and sometimes you yourself—can only guess at. It also reveals your strengths and weaknesses, looking beyond the obvious to your hidden potential.
What the Sun represents
The Sun's zodiac sign is one of the most important placements in your birth chart. It tells you who you are, describing your personality, your main character traits, and your worldview. The Sun reflects your sense of self.
