Square in Your Birth Chart – 90°

Square – 90°

The square is the most talked-about of the difficult aspects, but difficult doesn't mean bad. It's the friction between two planets pulling in different directions and refusing to let you relax. That tension very often becomes a powerful source of personal growth. Where a trine supplies a ready-made talent, a square makes you develop one.

People with prominent squares often achieve more in the very area the aspect describes, simply because they can't leave it alone until they resolve the conflict within.

A square has an orb of about 6–8°.
